Sights in Szanticska

The 18 houses and the two small churches of the village were built in the style which was characteristic to the area in the 19th century and this creates a harmony which is unique in Hungary. Taking a short walk you can walk up to the viewpoint above the village, where you can see not only the whole village but also the tree line leading to the village and 20-30 kms of the beautiful countryside around. In clear weather you can even see some parts of Slovakia.

The village got an award for the preservation of the local architecture in 1992.
